WHAT ARE "UNIVERSAL BASE KIT" BYPASS OIL FILTERS? 

Our Universal Base Kits are the first step to piecing together your own custom bypass oil filtration system! This universal kit includes the same filters used on our engine-specific kits, but the difference is you can provide your own hose, fittings, and accessories to complete your own project.

• EXTREME1 Universal Kits are for any diesel/gas engines with an oil capacity of 1-8 qt
• EXTREME2 Universal Kits are for any diesel/gas engine with an oil capacity of 8-16 qt
• EXTREME3 Universal Kits are for diesel engines with an oil capacity of 16-32 qt
• EXTREME4 Universal Kits are for diesel engines with an oil capacity of 32-64 qt

Parts Included In This Kit

• 1 EXTREME2 bypass oil filter housing (HX2SHBK) (HX2SHBLU) (HX2SHRED)
• 1 EXTREME2 filter element (EX2ME) with 1 set of o-rings (GX1/2)
• 2 In/Out port fittings (AN06-04MP90)
• 1 Mounting bracket with hardware (ZBRCKX12)
