This complete frame-mount kit includes the components needed to install an Insane Diesel EXTREME 2 bypass oil filtration system on a Ford 7.3L Power Stroke® engine.
Parts Included in This Kit
- 1 EXTREME 2 bypass oil filter housing (HX2SHBK, HX2SHBLU, or HX2SHRED)
- 1 EXTREME 2 filter element (EX2ME) with O-rings (GX1/2)
- 2 Inlet/outlet fittings (AN06-04MS)
- 1 Pressure port fitting (AN06-02MS)

Hose ships uncut as one continuous 9-foot length so it can be divided and routed according to the selected mounting location. - 1 Mounting bracket with hardware (ZBRCKX12)
- 1 Selected oil return port fitting
Choose Your Oil Return Fitting
Not sure which option to select? Choose the Standard Return.
The Standard Return is the recommended option for most installations. It is the primary configuration shown in our current installation guide, video, and product imagery.
Standard Return — Recommended Default
Select this option when you do not have a specific hose-routing preference. The straight fitting allows the return hose to run directly away from the return port and works well for most typical installations.

90-Degree Elbow Return — Optional Routing Choice
Select the elbow fitting when you prefer the return hose to immediately turn 90 degrees after leaving the return port. This option was added for customers who want to route the hose in a different direction or need additional flexibility around nearby components.
The elbow option does not change the filtration system or its performance. It only changes the direction of the return hose connection.
